Get Involved by being a Lake Host Volunteer

Help keep Pine River Pond beautiful by preventing invasive species, such as milfoil, from getting into our lake.  One preventative measure is to inspect boats coming in and out of the lake at the Pine River Association Lord Road boat ramp.  This program is referred to as the “Lake Host Program”.

Each summer, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, two paid individuals inspect boats on weekends.  This is paid with funds from the PRP Association, along with local and state contributions.  But, we are in need of volunteers to inspect boats when our paid Lake Hosts are out sick or on vacation.  The State of NH provides training, in-person or online, with dates scheduled in May and June.

Please consider becoming a part of this important program to help our mission to keep Pine River Pond free on invasive species.  If you would like more information, please contact our Lake Host Coordinator, Tom Daniels at 500 Pinewood Shores Rd, by email at tdanielsprp@gmail.com or call him at 978-880-8055.
